Yesterday the Race Committee noted that Team Ion Energy cut the corner of the race route by failing to round the waypoint.
In normal races this would lead to disqualification but that isn't in keeping with the values of the race so instead a penalty has been calculated and applied to this team. We calculate that by cutting the corner the crew accumulated 10nm less than all other boats.
All Relative now need to beat the next boat by 10nm to win the race. With the adjustment they are currently in 4th position.
