On Sunday 31 July, NOMAN riders took to the streets of the capital to tackle Ride London: a 100 mile sportive on closed roads through the city and its magnificent surroundings. Over 26,000 amateur cyclists take on a similar route to that of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race — starting in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park before racing through the capital out into Surrey and its hills before snaking back to London for a grandstand finish on The Mall outside Buckingham Palace.
The discomfort of a 4.00am wake up to make the start line was more than made up for by the fantastic weather and closed roads to speed along, that in addition to the enthusiasm of the volunteers and the roaring crowds in Trafalgar Square made it a special day’s riding.
NOMAN will be back!
