Boys should get the same vaccination as girls to protect them against a virus that can cause cancer, health campaigners demanded today. The jab protects against the human papillomavirus, which is linked to several types of cancer. Since 2008 all girls aged 12 to 13 in England have been given the HPV jab to help prevent cervical cancer.
